All About Me

Hello, my name is Alana Needham! First off I would like to say thanks for reading my blog! This blog was made for my English 101 class so almost all of my blog post will be about war, because that is our theme this year! Now to know a little bit about me! I was born on February 10, 1995, in Alabama. I was born and raised in Calhoun County, where I attended Alexandria High School.  I am now a freshman in college at Jacksonville State. I plan to major in biology in hopes of becoming a Pediatrician. I love children and would love to be able to help them one day.  As a child, age two, I was hit in the back of the head by a horse.  Many Pediatricians at Children's Hospital helped my parents and I get myself stable again, after being in a coma for two weeks. Not only my love for children, but the time I spent at Children's Hospital is what made me intrested in becoming a Pediatrician. Growing up I loved to cheer. I cheered from
kindergarden until my senior year at Alexandria.  I also cheered on two different competitive cheerleading squads; Cougars Allstars and Dynamite Allstars. As a child I always wanted to become an Alabama cheerleader RTR! My whole family is entirely Alabama fans. I love my family, they are wonderful! I have two older half sisters on my dads side who are grown and have children of their own; therefore, I have four nieces and a nephew. I also have a younger brother who is adopted. (I always wanted a younger sibling.) Although my parents are divorced, family is very important to me. My mother is my best friend and I would do anything for her. In my free time I like to shop, spend time with my friends and family, and sleep! I love the color blue, sweet tea, shrimp, and my hairless dog Paisleigh. Yes, I have a hairless dog! (Some people call me crazy.) I also got called crazy because in high school I was always the one who did not want to graduate, but to stay in high school forever. I loved high school and everything about it! Now that I am graduated I could not be any happier to start this new chapter of my life. I hope you enjoy the rest of my blog posts!
